My philosophy of treatment is client based and solution oriented and I utilize treatment approaches based in Information Processing Theory (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Theory, and Choice Theory. Depending upon the presenting concerns and needs of the client, I employ techniques from other modalities. I believe that clients assume the primary responsibility in the resolution of their issues. I provide combined educational, insight oriented, systemic and behavioral treatment methodologies to assist clients to resolve their presenting issues. I believe that every person at every stage of their life is attempting to do the best they can within their ability and according to the circumstances they are confronted with. A person's ultimate striving is to be in unison with their environment so they might attain the highest level of functioning within their lifetime. Relationships are the most important aspect of a person's life. It is my intent to help you achieve lasting, fulfilling relationships free of ego and complications.
